Different domains have benefited from several small steps or giant leaps. Despite that, I never personally caught the fever of posting my thoughts as feverishly as I have always desired. And this time, I intend to take this far and be involved regularly.

The senseless tragedy in Texas highlights the urgent need to address the mass shooting epidemic affecting children and adults. It emphasizes the responsibility of parents and elected officials to ensure safety in schools, where drills for potential attacks occur instead of focusing on learning. Immediate action is necessary to protect innocent lives.
Many successful middle-aged technologists feel a sense of hollowness despite career achievements. They confront the realization that personal sacrifices for professional success often lead to neglected relationships. Acknowledging this, they can redefine success by prioritizing family, setting boundaries, and intentionally investing in personal connections, ultimately reshaping their lives to balance professional and personal fulfillment.
As you go through your work week, busy making calls and moving from meeting to meeting, take a moment to call/email someone you last spoke to a while ago.
In a distraction-filled world, the art of being present is essential for meaningful experiences. Multitasking hampers our focus and engagement, leading to shallow interactions. By prioritizing mental over digital capture and dedicating our attention to each moment, we foster deeper connections and enrich our lives, enhancing respect for ourselves and others.
This weekend I crossed the finish line of my 25th half-marathon. Five years of running has taught me the same lessons on repeat: discipline outlasts motivation, consistency beats intensity, you work with real conditions not ideal ones, progress hides until it doesn’t, and no finish line is ever truly solo. Persistence is the whole game.
Today, May 15th is the Teacher’s Day (Día del Maestro) in Mexico. A day to celebrate educators around the country. I want to take the opportunity today to thank Daniel Elizalde.
